Yes. Nu Chimney and Cleaning Services LLC is fully licensed to operate in Pennsylvania and carries general liability insurance, so you’re protected on every job we perform.
What’s included in a safety inspection?▼
Our inspections cover the flue, damper, cap, crown, and mortar joints, plus a creosote and obstruction check, with a written report you can keep for your records and insurer.
How much does chimney cleaning cost?▼
Our Preventive Maintenance plan — annual cleaning, full inspection, and maintenance report — starts at $149 + tax. Repairs, liner work, and waterproofing are quoted after inspection.
How often should I get my chimney cleaned?
Most homeowners need an inspection and cleaning once a year, especially before heating season starts, or any time you notice reduced draft, odor, or visible soot buildup.
Do you offer same-day or emergency service?

Do you offer any discounts?
Yes — we offer a 5% military/veteran discount (valid military ID required) and a 5% senior citizen discount for ages 65+ (valid ID showing age required). Discounts can’t be combined with other offers; mention your discount when scheduling.
Why would my gas company shut off my service?
Gas companies require a clean, properly venting chimney before they’ll continue heating system service. A dirty or blocked chimney can trigger a shutoff until it’s cleaned and inspected — we provide the documentation gas companies require.
